Claim Data

When you create land claims, we store parcel geometry (coordinates), claim descriptions, evidence files, and attestation records. Claim records are public by default, but your personally identifiable information (name, email, phone) is never included in public records.

Evidence Files

Files you upload as evidence are stored via Uploadcare. Each file is hashed for integrity. You control the access level: public, claim-parties only, or private.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain our platform services
  • To process and display land claim records (excluding PII)
  • To detect overlapping claims and facilitate dispute resolution
  • To send you notifications about your claims and disputes
  • To verify your email address and secure your account

4. Public vs. Private Data

Public: Parcel boundaries (geometry), claim type, claim status, claim description, public evidence, attestation statements (anonymized).

Private: Your name, email, phone number, account details, private evidence files, internal dispute communications.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with: service providers (hosting, email, file storage) who process data on our behalf; law enforcement when required by law; and other parties in a dispute, limited to information necessary for resolution.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), JWT-based authentication, and access controls on sensitive data.

7. Your Rights
